Looking back!

I can't stop thinking that this year will mark the 10th year since I graduated high school! AND that I am closer to turning 30 years old. I definitely don't feel like it! It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman in high school, had my quinceanera, got my first job at Chuck E Cheese's, bought my first car, got a real job as a Medical Assistant, and now I am a mother of 3!!! It's crazy how fast time flies when you are all grown up. I remember actually wishing for time to just go by faster so I could have more independence and even wondering what it would be like being married and having my own place. Well, I love it, but it's not as easy as I pictured it in my head many years ago. It's actually harder. I have learned a lot, but there is still much more to learn. Now I know what my mom felt like as a mother and understand why she was the way she was with us. We won't understand it until we are mother's ourselves. I understand now having my own kiddos and I know that nothing I say will change that, but I can love them, teach them great values, be a good example and pray for them.

I can't complain. I have been blessed with a beautiful family. Here's a quick look at our 2011.

January-We celebrated the new year with our family in Texas!
February- My beautiful niece, Kirra, was born
March- had a nice visit from grandparents :)

September- My baby girl started Kindergarten! and the hubster started his P.A. program.
October- Actually went trick or treating this year (door to door rather than trunk to trunk).
November- Spent Thanksgiving in DC with a family I didn't know (Jahvel did back from his mission) very nice people.
December- Made a trip to Texas to spend Christmas and New Years with our families!!! ( I want to thank the best family I have for making it such a fun and memorable one and for your help!!!) Love you all!

I say it was a pretty darn good one!
