My little guy no longer has just 2 bottom teeth! More teeth are coming in from the top and that will make for better munching and probably biting! He is growing up so fast, I can't believe he will be a year old in about a month. He is such a special little boy. He is always smiling and just very happy. He loves to crawl around and go room to room and see what he can find to play with or put in his mouth. He laughs at his sisters and sometimes gets frustrated when they won't let him breathe because they love on him a little too much. He loves loves his milk and food. I thought the day that he would actually open his mouth and taste some food wouldn't come soon enough, but he showed me! He wasn't gonna eat that mushy baby food... silly me, baby food is for babies not for a cute little guy like him!! He loves big adult food and now that he has those two extra teeth, I know he will chomp faster through the food I give him and his love for food will only grow even more.
I wasn't the only one worried about him eating food though, his pediatrician was worried about his weight and how he wasn't gaining any so she gave me six weeks to keep trying to get him to eat and try to give him formula, but he wasn't gonna drink that. I introduced cow's milk and he loved it and that was just the beginning. On Friday we took him in for his weigh in and he gained a whopping total of 2 lbs. !! I seriously he thought he gained more because he sure feels heavier, but the doctor was really happy with that and I guess so am I. His doctor visit made me realize how smart this little boy is. He knew he was at a place he didn't like too much because as soon as daddy placed him on the table to take off his clothes he just started crying. Daddy would pick him up and he would stop, he would put him down and he would cry! He just wanted to be held and we couldn't help, but try it again because it was too funny, but he's ok and he didn't get any shots and I am happy to say that he still loves us and we LOVE him!!
