Finally Friday!

I am so thankful it's Friday!

I know Thanksgiving was yesterday, but I can still be thankful today and everyday. I am thankful for the wonderful food we had yesterday, though. We had a very good Thanksgiving with friends and family. We were busy all day. Today we are just resting and relaxing at home. It feels so good to just be home with my husband and girls watching cartoons, movies, and relaxing from a long day like it was yesterday. I don't even want to worry about the chores today. We will just enjoy the day after Thanksgiving doing whatever we want!

I hope that y'all had a good day yesterday too.

I would like to share with you another reason why I am thankful it's Friday. The reason for that is because we are counting down the days to see my family again. It is one less Friday in the countdown. Now we only have 4 more to go. For what? well, to see "mom" again, of course! She's the number one reason for my little Velani, and why not? me too! She is always mentioning her and how she is gonna come and she just keeps wondering how much longer it'll be before she finally sees her.

Yesterday, after eating over at some friend's house, we told Velani we were gonna see "mom". Velani was very excited and when she noticed we were turning into our complex she said "no! wait papi, wait, stop papi, stooop!!" and so he did and asked her why and she said " vamos a ver a mom!" I guess we needed to have been a little more specific, yes, we were gonna see "mom" but through the web cam!

Velani had the chance to see not only "mom" but the rest of the family as well.

The countdown will continue until grand "mom" and granddaughter will finally see each other again, face-to-face. We will record that moment and share it with you all.
