Determination

It is amazing when people get what they want when they are determined to get it if they really put their heart into it.

My little Mia is that person. I was watching her try so hard to get this one toy I put on the floor with some other ones, but it was the toy that was furthest away from her and the rest of the other toys that she wanted.

She is only 6 months now, but a few months back is when I first noticed what a determined little girl I had( I'm sure she isn't the only child like this, but I would like to keep thinking she is).
If there was something within reach that she really wanted, she would try to get a hold of it. I would take it away from her before she actually reached it. Now I don't. I want her to get it. I figured that if I let her get what she really wants she will learn that with a little determination she can accomplish anything. If you really want it, then go for it, nothing is impossible. There may be a few stumbling rocks down the path, but we just have to find a way to get around them.

I love to see how smart my girls are and how pure and innocent they are. I hope to be a better mother and learn from them as much as I possibly can.It is amazing what one can learn from them by just watching and listening to them. They enjoy life, no worries, no grudges, they love unconditionally and I want to be just like them. I have to make the change within myself here at home and NOW! I know that I have to learn how to be patient and believe me I am determined to accomplish that first.

I love this simple lesson I learned from my little one. If babies can be determined, why shouldn't we?
