New year new beginning

So it's a new year and that means I have resolutions to keep up with.
It's great to have another year to make life better and more enjoyable. I am very excited about this year (no reason in particular). I have a feeling that this year will be a good one. I guess it's because I will have my family close to me. We decide how to live our lives and what direction to take and if we keep a positive outlook then I believe good things will come for us all. So 2009 is now a time in history, it was great, including the rough patches we may have had. It's a thing of the past now so let's either learn from it or leave it behind and continue to look forward with a positive attitude. Let's plan our year now. What do we want this year? and how are we gonna accomplish it? it's not just about writing down what you want to accomplish. There has to be a plan of how we are going to accomplish that particular goal. Let's plan it with the help of our beloved Heavenly Father. I know that he's always there for me and I love that I just have to kneel and talk to him when I need his guidance or when I need to feel better in a moment of despair, sadness, or even just to share my joys and accomplishments with him. He's always there and he knows us all.

One of my resolutions this year is to just be happy and enjoy my family by spending time with them and forgetting about things of this world, material things and enjoying life, that's the purpose right?

Happy 2010 to everyone!

It's now history:

Velani turned 3 and we celebrated at the pool with friends and family.
Braulio got married with a great woman
traveled to Dallas in the summer and celebrated Mia's 1st birthday at the pool.
lived a full year in St. George
were given the best Christmas present: paid trip to be with our family for the holidays.
